02 / INSIDE THE PROJECT

01Implementation
The Android companion brings the shared household backend into a native mobile interface. Kotlin and Jetpack Compose are organised into data, domain and presentation layers, with Hilt, Retrofit and coroutine-based state.
02Key decision
The application shares the web platform’s backend rather than creating a separate household record. Room provides local caching while the native interface adapts common tasks to a handheld screen.
03Current scope
The documented architecture supports a native companion with cached data. Full offline synchronisation and conflict resolution are not established by the reviewed documentation.
