01Implementation
A Raspberry Pi acts as a quiet desk display for focus sessions, calendar context, development activity and system health. A Svelte interface reads state from a Node/Express agent; integrations bring in Microsoft, GitHub and MQTT data.
02Key decision
The display is deliberately read-only. Explicit commands through deskctl change state, separating a glanceable screen from the controls that start or alter a focus session.
03Current scope
The documented design connects several sources into one console. It does not establish improved productivity, and the available context depends on the configured integrations.
